Christoffer Svanberg, CEO of leading industrial real estate advisor in the Nordics, Nodepole will join the SACC Texas board of Houston. He is very much looking forward to taking part of the interesting development in Texas. “We live in a very exciting time, and both Sweden and Texas are some of the most interesting regions in the world right now.”
Why did you agree to take a seat on the board of SACC Houston?
The US is an exciting and very important market for Sweden, where Texas is perhaps the most exciting state right now. Houston as a strong engine in Texas with its interesting mix of companies, academia and capital makes it irresistible to contribute to the exciting work that SACC Houston does.
What do you want to contribute to the board?
I hope to be able to contribute with inspiration and experiences of industrial development, but also with interesting visions and ideas about tomorrow’s sustainable industries and of course with contacts from both sides of the Atlantic
You work with sustainable energy investments. What is your image of Texas?
The transformation of the energy sector from fossil fuels to renewable and the large influx of companies we see to Texas inspires. There are similarities with how we develop sustainable industries in Sweden and the visions that exist in Texas. The really interesting thing is not only to switch to a sustainable tomorrow, with regard to e.g., energy production, but also what you can use the renewable energy to. We live in a very exciting time, and both Sweden and Texas are some of the most interesting regions in the world right now. Clusters that inspire, gives hope and prosperity for the future.
