2021-2022 Internship for SACC Texas:
Intern Web TV Lead

Job Description
TASKS AND DUTIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Help in building the Chamber’s Web TV production
  • Produce and build web TV show, Houston Live 
  • Create plans and routines for how to communicate with moving images
  • Attending Chamber-specific networking events (if on-site)
  • Assisting in recruiting new Chamber members
  • Assisting in membership program development
  • Manage and develop website, www.sacctx.com
  • Assist in producing and developing monthly Newsletter
  • Managing and developing social media accounts

Requirements

  • Higher education within Business, Economics, Marketing, or Project management with skills in web TV production and moving images AND/OR a bachelor’s degree in film or TV production, directing, communication or another related field
  • Professional experience in the movie or web/TV industry is a big plus
  • Related work or extracurricular experience
  • Outgoing personality; can-do-attitude, admin and initiative skills
  • Experience with (or willing to learn) WordPress is required
  • Leadership and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Interpersonal skills/conflict resolution skills
  • Excellent verbal and written skills in English
  • Interest in web/social media
  • Ability to take initiative
  • You can be Swedish, Finnish or US citizen, have a residency or just study in the US

Benefits
The position can be managed remotely, from Texas, Sweden or Finland. As an intern abroad you are entitled to apply for scholarships. Some Swedish students, depending on their university program, might also be eligible to receive student aid from CSN. There is no monetary compensation for the intern, as SACC Texas is a non-profit organization.
