We would also like to announce that Anna Hammarlund Blixt, the newly appointed Consul General of Sweden in Houston, will join the board on an honorary basis. Their diverse expertise and passion will help guide the chamber and its members business ventures towards an exciting future.
• Anna Hammarlund Blixt (Honorary Board Member) – Newly appointed Consul General of Sweden in Houston. A seasoned diplomat with nearly two decades of experience, she has held key roles including Deputy Head of Department for European Security Policy, Head of Political Section at the Embassy of Sweden in Washington, D.C., and Deputy Head of Mission in Ankara. Anna brings a wealth of international experience and a strong commitment to fostering Swedish-American relations.
• Christian Larsen (Vice Chair) – Managing Director at PostNord International, the international division of the Scandinavian postal service. He oversees strategy, growth, and operations across North and South America and serves as part of the global management team. Previously, Christian held senior sales and leadership roles with MAJORITY, Rebtel, and Tele2, where he built high-performing teams and drove market expansion in both the U.S. and Europe.
• Jason Stanley – Head of Advisory – US at Position Green, where he leads strategy and sustainability initiatives for companies navigating complex ESG reporting and climate-related disclosures. With a career spanning leadership roles in sustainability, investor relations, and international business development, Jason brings deep experience in corporate strategy and environmental impact.
• Sophia Nilsson – A U.S.–trained and licensed attorney now based in Sweden, Sophia is a U.S. tax advisor at Franklin Tax AB. She specializes in helping foreign companies navigate U.S. federal and state corporate taxation, taxation treaties, and cross-border compliance. With years of experience at PwC, Grant Thornton, KPMG, and Deloitte across Canada and Sweden, Sophia brings a rare blend of legal expertise and international tax insight.
