Carl Stenberg, a new board member in Houston, will work with SACC-USA Talent Mobility Program.

Being a young Private Equity lawyer in the Houston, Carl Stenberg is looking forward to work with the SACC-USA Talent Mobility program and start going to the rodeo again after the pandemic. We say welcome to SACC Texas and the SACC Houston board.

Could you tell us a bit about yourself?

I am originally from Lund, Scania, but went to law school at Queen Mary University of London and eventually ended up in Texas after meeting my wife during an exchange year at the University of Texas at Austin School of Law. I currently work as an M&A and Private Equity lawyer in the Houston office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP and my practice mainly evolves around representing private equity funds in a variety of complex transactions within the energy industry.

How would you like to contribute to the board?

I would like to expand SACC’s presence in Houston by getting more young professionals onboard through a variety of initiatives and to help out with the upcoming SACC-USA Talent Mobility program here in Houston and Texas.

What is the best thing with living in Houston? The food, and the weather.

After having lived in Sweden for 18 years I absolutely love the heat, and the Rodeo which is pretty cool.
