This month, SACC Houston is throwing their Nordic Traditional Event on Wednesday June 28. A traditional meal with pea soup, Swedish and Finnish pancakes, beer, wine and punch, will be served at Chef Søren’s Kitchen. This is a night of networking with friends from the Swedish community and other Nordic and European Chambers of Commerce in Houston.

The presenter of the evening is Christopher Westerlund, an avid SACCTX supporter and member of the chamber since 2008. Christopher is currently the Finance Manager for Keane Group, an integrated well completions services company in the oil and gas industry. Christopher will walk us through the history, evolution and current state of the oil services industry with a focus on hydraulic fracturing and the North American oil and gas market. With over 10+ years of executive leadership in finance in public Fortune 500, private, nonprofit and private equity, Christopher will give us his view on the industry and where it is going. Previous leadership positions that he has held include companies such as Schlumberger, C&J Energy Services, Nordea Bank.
