As Sweden intensifies efforts to boost foreign trade with the introduction of a new national strategy, the Swedish-American Chambers of Commerce USA (SACC-USA) is set to host a seminar in the Swedish Parliament on January 23, 2024, focusing on strengthening trade ties with the U.S.
The seminar, spearheaded and organized by SACC Houston Chair André Persson in collaboration with Swedish MPs Helena Storckenfeldt (M) and Aida Birinxhiku (S), comes at a pivotal moment. The U.S. is one of Sweden’s key trade partners, and with changing geopolitical dynamics, NATO membership, and the green transition, there are significant opportunities for enhanced economic cooperation.
“This is an important time for Swedish-American relations,” says SACC Houston Chair André Persson. “As ties between our countries deepen, it’s crucial that Swedish policymakers understand the role SACC-USA can play in this evolving landscape.”
