SACC Texas is Hiring Interns For 2025 - 26
SACC Texas is looking for motivated individuals who are willing to make a difference in the organization and learn professional skills. Interns can expect to commit around 20 hours a month to work. Ideally, we ask that interns sign on for a year. Interns will go through brief on boarding in the spring 2025, will be off for the summer (mid-June to mid August) and officially start internship work mid August 2025. SACC Texas interns are eligible for college credit if the work fulfills the school’s requirements.

- Broadcast Production Intern (WebTV and Virtual Event Production)

Administrative Lead Intern
As the Administrative Lead Intern, you will work alongside the SACC Treasurer and the SACC Executive Board to perform all administrative duties.
Location: Houston, Texas or Remote (must be able to adhere to the CST, but the position is open to those in the U.S. and abroad)
Part Time (20-25 hours/month), *hours may not be evenly distributed to a weekly basis*
Compensation: Unpaid
Internship Period: August 2025-May 2026
Intern Responsibilities:
- Attend and bookkeep monthly Board Meetings to ensure understanding and support for the organization.
- Assist with general SACC-TX housekeeping: memberships, events calendar, etc.
- Support SACC Texas treasurer with financial management
- Update and maintain membership dues, contact information, and membership status
- Manage and maintain Chamber databases
- Write and update SACC Texas procedures
- Assist with www.sacctx.com website updates
Intern Requirements:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn online platforms (WordPress & ChamberMaster)
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Strong candidates are self-starters and perform beyond listed duties
- Related work or extracurricular experience
- Outgoing personality; can-do-attitude, admin and initiative skills
- Leadership and teamwork skills
- Strong analytical skills

- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- You can be Swedish, Finnish or a U.S. citizen, have a residency, or studying in the US

Communication and Webmaster Lead Intern

As the Communication and Webmaster Lead Intern, you will act as a liaison for SACC Texas and assist in creating a variety of promotional material for events, monthly newsletters, and maintaining an online presence via sacctx.com and the Chamber’s various social media accounts.
Location: Houston, Texas or Remote (must be able to adhere to the CST, but the position is open to those in the U.S. and abroad)

Intern Responsibilities:
- Act as editor for the SACC Texas’ bi-monthly newsletter.
- Maintain and update SACC Texas’ website, www.sacctx.com
- Support the SACC Texas chapters (Houston, Dallas, and Austin) with creating promotional materials for events, Social Media channels, and email marketing.
- Attend monthly Board Meetings to ensure understanding and support for the
Organization. - Attending Chamber-specific networking events (if on-site)
Intern Requirements:

- Fluency and strong writing abilities in English

As the Events Lead Intern, you will act as the on-site liaison for SACC Texas and assist in planning, organizing, and executing events for the Chamber.

Marketing and Webmaster Lead Intern

Social Media Lead Intern

As the Social Media Lead Intern, you will design and create the invitations and ads for social events or campaigns. Along with this you will advertise the events on all social medias and update the website with the new events you advertise for.
Location: Houston, Texas or Remote (must be able to adhere to the CST, but the position is open to those in the U.S. and abroad)

Intern Responsibilities:
- Create invitations and advertisements for SACC events and campaigns
- Advertise events and campaigns on social media platforms
- Update website with upcoming events and all information pertaining to the event
- Send out email invitations or advertisements to SACC members
Intern Requirements:
- Knowledge of or willingness to learn online platforms (Canva, WordPress, Eventbrite, ChamberMaster, Hootsuite)
- Knowledge and familiarity with social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter). Experience running professional social media accounts is a plus.
- Fluency and strong writing abilities in English
- Are currently a college student or a recent graduate

Broadcast Production Intern
As the Broadcast Production Intern, you will act as a liaison for SACC Texas and assist in creating and producing web tv productions, webinars, live streams, and all virtual events for SACC Texas.
Location: Houston, Texas or Remote (must be able to adhere to the CST, but the position is open to those in the U.S. and abroad)

Intern Responsibilities:
- Design and create a plan for WebTV Production for SACC Texas. (Currently just Zoom is being used for virtual events. This position will work to develop out these events for improved production quality and playback)
- Plan, edit, and produce virtual events for SACC Texas
- Serve as point person to SACC Executive Board to fulfill broadcast needs
- Collaborate alongside Marketing and Social Media interns to promote broadcasted events across social media channels
- Curate and further develop virtual events
Intern Requirements:
- Knowledge of or willingness to independently learn web tv and streaming platforms (Zoom Professional Services, Vimeo, livestream platforms i.e. Streamyard, YouTube Live, etc.)
- Fluency and strong writing abilities in English
- Are currently a college student or a recent graduate
