Hi, André, and welcome to SACC Texas, Dallas and the role as Board Member in the Dallas
Chapter and Chief Communication Officer for SACC Texas. Could you please tell us a bit
about yourself?
Thank you. I am born and raised in Stockholm, Sweden, where I have been working with PR and
Communication in the IT and Tech Industry. I am also a writer of several books, in a genre that most
easily could be described as investigative journalism. Now, I am in the process of moving over here to
Dallas with my American fiancée and our little son. We live in east Dallas, by White Rock Lake, a
beautiful that I try to bike around as often as I can.
From your perspective – what are the biggest challenges for SACC Texas?
I am very much looking forward to communicate all the relevant, fun and interesting activities that
SACC Texas is organizing. My biggest challenge and task will be to contribute to the process of
acquiring new members. We want to grow! At the same time, we constantly have to work to deliver
value for our existing members; this by offering appealing and relevant information, but also offer
networking- and meeting opportunities that in depth can promote Texas-Sweden relations.
How do you experience the differences between Texas and Sweden?
The weather of course! I can bicycle and run all year around. Love that. Skiing in the winter is not
around the corner, but I am looking forward to explore the skiing facilities in New Mexico this winter.
But I will miss doing Nordic skating that I enjoy doing in Sweden.
